I was not able to ride last weekend, I was exploring the island of Marinduque south of Luzon. But we were able to have a "century" ride the week before, I just forgot to write about it :D.
We broke our current 100km+/day ride this time. Our Batlag falls round trip covered 123 km. It was a combination of paved roads, relentless uphills, rock gardens, single tracks, and rut-filled downhills.
Some highlights of the day:
Beautiful scenery near Cogeo
Re grouping at Mang Vic's Bulaluhan (this is already near the Sierra Madre)
Some views of the tracks
As always, what's a ride without a picnic? :D
On the return trip we went via Teresa and Tanay and climb up to Antipolo. Twas a sweet climb :). We were able to finally get to home at around 8PM in the evening. Total pedal time was about 7.5 hours.
